Privacy Policy
1. Overview
CruseStick is an online ecommerce site that sells sealed retail IQOS TEREA tobacco sticks to adult customers (21+) in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about customers and site visitors, how we use it, and the choices available to you. In this document “CruseStick,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the operator of crusestick.com.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect falls into the following categories.
Order and checkout information
When you place or attempt to place an order we collect the information you enter at checkout, including your name, email address, optional phone number, optional company name, shipping address, order notes, the products and quantities in your cart or order, the payment method you choose, and the age confirmation checkbox you submit at checkout.
Abandoned checkout information
If you start checkout and enter an email address but do not complete the order, that email and the associated cart contents may be saved so we can send cart recovery or payment reminder messages.
Contact and support information
Messages submitted through our contact form and any subsequent correspondence are retained as part of our support records.
Newsletter and marketing information
If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to other marketing communications, we store the email address you provide and your subscription preferences.
Chat information
Messages you send to our on-site chat (including AI-assisted chat) may be stored and reviewed so we can improve support quality, debug issues, and evaluate the assistant’s answers. Please do not send highly sensitive personal information through chat.
Technical information
Like most websites, we receive technical information from your browser and device, including cookies, session identifiers, information stored in your browser’s localStorage, IP address, user agent, device and browser characteristics, and analytics events generated as you interact with the site.
Email engagement information
Emails we send (order confirmations, payment instructions, tracking updates, support replies, marketing messages) may contain tracking pixels or links that record when a message is opened or a link is clicked.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- process and fulfill orders;
- review orders for payment safety, fraud prevention, shipping eligibility, age and policy compliance, and business risk;
- send order confirmations, payment instructions, tracking updates, and support replies;
- send abandoned-cart and payment-reminder messages, and marketing messages where you have subscribed or where otherwise permitted;
- improve the site, our product selection, support quality, the chat assistant, and the overall customer experience;
- meet security, debugging, fraud prevention, and legal or compliance needs.
4. Payments
CruseStick does not collect or store credit or debit card numbers on its own systems. Cryptocurrency payments are handled through third-party payment providers such as NOWPayments and similar processors. For PayPal and Zelle, payment instructions may be sent to you after your order has been reviewed. Payment providers process information according to their own privacy policies, which are independent of this policy.
5. Shipping and fulfillment
We share the information necessary to ship your order with shipping and label platforms and with carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx when needed. Only the information required to ship and support the order is shared.
6. Service providers and third parties
We rely on third-party service providers to operate the site and run the business. These providers fall into broad categories rather than a fixed list, and include:
- hosting, security, and email delivery providers;
- payment providers;
- shipping and label platforms, and shipping carriers;
- Trustpilot and other review-invitation providers;
- analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console;
- internal marketing and customer-communication tools used to send order, support, and marketing messages.
We do not sell personal information. Information shared with service providers is limited to what those providers need to perform their function, and they are expected to handle that information in accordance with their own privacy and security obligations.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies, browser session storage, and localStorage to keep your cart and checkout state, maintain secure sessions, remember preferences, and gather analytics about how the site is used. Some of these technologies are essential to the site’s basic functioning; others support analytics and performance measurement.
Google Analytics may collect information about your visits, such as pages viewed, referring page, and rough geographic location based on IP. You can manage analytics tracking using standard browser controls (clearing cookies, using “Do Not Track” settings where supported) or Google’s own opt-out tools.
8. Email, marketing, and tracking
Depending on how you interact with the site, you may receive transactional emails (order confirmations, payment instructions, shipping updates, support replies) and, where you have subscribed or where otherwise permitted, marketing emails.
If you enter an email address during checkout but do not complete the order, you may receive cart-recovery or payment-reminder messages.
Outgoing emails may include open and click tracking. We use this information to confirm delivery, support troubleshooting, detect security issues, and measure overall email performance. Email-tracking events are generally retained for up to 180 days.
Where an unsubscribe link is available, you can use it at any time. You can also reach us through the contact page to ask to be removed from a particular list.
9. Age and restricted products
Our site and products are intended for adults aged 21 and older. Checkout requires you to confirm that you meet this age requirement before an order can be placed.
CruseStick does not normally collect date of birth, government identification documents, or other identity documents through the regular checkout process. If a future order review process ever requires additional information, we will ask for it explicitly.
10. Chat assistant
Our on-site chat may be powered by AI or large language model technology. Messages you send through the chat may be stored and reviewed so we can improve the quality of the assistant and the support behind it. Please do not include highly sensitive personal information — such as full payment card details or government identification numbers — in chat messages.
11. Data retention
We retain order and support records for as long as is reasonably needed to fulfill orders, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and comply with our legal obligations.
Email-tracking events are generally retained for up to 180 days. Marketing-related information is kept until it is no longer needed for the marketing program, you unsubscribe, or you ask us to remove it.
12. Privacy requests and California residents
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights under applicable privacy laws, including, for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents may request access to the personal information we hold about them, request correction or deletion, or ask about how their personal information is used.
We do not sell personal information. To make a privacy request or ask a privacy-related question, please contact us through the contact page. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, our service providers, or applicable law. When we do, the updated version will be posted on this page. Please review this page periodically to stay informed about how we handle your information.
14. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how CruseStick handles your information, please reach us through the contact page.
